1. Ownership of Online Store www.griffins-unisex.com
1.1. Nuno Miguel da Costa Gil, holder of Tax Identification Number 221 640 533, resident at Rua Vale de São Martinho, n.º 3, r/c dto 2710-402 Sintra, Portugal, is the legitimate owner of the GRIFFINS brand and the online store www.griffins-unisex.com.
2. Object and Scope of the Application
2.1. The object of the Terms and Conditions clauses is to provide and define the information necessary in order to regulate all stages of the business transaction, connecting the selling entity, GRIFFINS, in the person of its legitimate owner, and the persons who intend to make purchases on the respective website, hereinafter referred to as consumer or customer.
2.2. The following clauses are the only ones applicable to the purchase and sale contract that is entered into the moment the customer makes final confirmation of purchase, and also regulate browsing on the website www.griffins-unisex.com.
2.3. The purchase of products and browsing on the website imply understanding and acceptance of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions. Terms and Conditions.
2.4 Any natural person who purchases products on the GRIFFIN online store as an individual without any intention of resale is considered to be a customer/consumer/user.
2.5. The user may only make purchases on the online store www.griffins-unisex.com if they are 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
2.6. The customer must provide GRIFFINS with the data requested so the order may be delivered to their address, and accepts that GRIFFINS may contact them using such data, should such contact be deemed necessary.
3. Purchase Process
3.1. GRIFFINS is a brand that currently has no physical store, wherefore all purchases can only be made through the online store.
3.2. In order to make an online purchase on the website, it is necessary to first be registered.
3.3. The following data is requested upon registration:
- Full name
- Full address
- Taxpayer identification number
- Telephone number
3.4. Only after registration can the customer select the desired products.
3.5. By clicking on the products, the customer will receive information about the technical features, reference, images and corresponding prices with VAT already included
3.6. When selecting the product, after choosing the size, the product is added to the virtual shopping cart by clicking on the «Add».
3.7. To complete the order, the customer must click on the «Checkout» button.
3.8. The customer will be informed of the total order amount, which is the sum of the prices of all products selected plus shipping costs.
3.9. One of the available payment methods must be selected.
3.10. Final confirmation of purchase by the user implies full acceptance of the prices and features of the products available on the website.
3.11. After completing their order, the customer will receive an email confirming the business transaction.
3.12. If these Terms and Conditions are not complied or there is no payment confirmation, GRIFFINS reserves the right not to accept the order, or to fully or partially cancel it, even after its automatic confirmation.
4. Payment Methods
4.1. Valid forms of payment are disclosed on the website:

5. Prices
5.1. The price of products displayed on the website is the final price with VAT already included.
5.2. In addition to the price, the customer must take shipping expenses into account.
5.3. In the event of an increase in a product’s price, the customer shall be informed immediately, and shall be able to choose between receiving the order (paying for the difference) or cancelling the order.
5.4. All prices are displayed in euros, wherefore there may be changes in relation to the value displayed if the product is destined for a country using a currency different to that displayed on the website.
6. Order Confirmation or Cancellation
6.1. The customer may cancel the order by not making the corresponding payment.
6.2. If an order and corresponding payment are submitted for products which, have, in the meantime, become unavailable, GRIFFINS shall reimburse the money paid, requesting the customer’s IBAN for this purpose.
6.3. GRIFFINS reserves the right to cancel any order, even if it has already been confirmed, in the following situations:
-The billing or address information is incorrect or incomplete, and therefore product delivery is impossible;
- When payment for the order has not been received within 3 business days following the customer’s order confirmation;
- If there are signs the customer is not of legal age to make the purchase;
6.4. In any of the above situations the customer will be informed immediately by email.
7. Order Shipment
7.1. GRIFFINS ships customer’s order on business days, from Monday to Friday.
7.2. GRIFFINS is not responsible for any product damage or loss during order shipment.
7.3. The average delivery period for orders (up to 5 kg) is as follows:
- Mainland Portugal: by CTT, up to 3 business days
- Madeira: by CTT, between 5 and 7 business days
- Azores: by CTT between 7 and 15 business days
– Rest of the World: between 10 and 15 business days
7.4. Shipping costs are free for Portugal, Madeira and Azores; for Europe and other continents are charged according with the prices of transportation companies.
7.5. Projected delivery dates are an estimate provided by companies that perform deliveries, wherefore GRIFFINS shall not be liable for any delay in product dispatch nor does it grant the consumer any right to compensation.
8. Exchanges and Returns
8.1. All GRIFFINS shoes are high-quality items, made using an almost exclusively manual method, carefully checked throughout the manufacturing process.
8.2. Before use, the brand advises to trying out the product on a clean and smooth surface.
8.3. It is possible to exchange or return the product acquired within 15 days of order receipt:
- Due to a defect
- For another model or size
8.4. Shipping costs shall be borne by the customer when exchanging for another model or size, except in cases of return due to a defect, in which case such costs shall be borne by the seller.
8.5. To make an exchange for another model, the customer should return the product that was initially purchased, being reimbursed the corresponding amount by means of a deposit into their bank account, with the exception of the amount related to shipping costs. In order to acquire the desired model, the customer should begin the purchasing process on the website as normal.
8.6. How to make a return or exchange:
1. Place the product in the original box if it is to be exchanged for another model or returned due to a defect. The original box sent is not required if it is merely a size exchange.
2. Place the original packaging inside a second cardboard box and send to the following address:

3. On the website, go to Contacts and send a message, with the following information:
- Personal data
-Reason for return or exchange (indicate the size desired if it is a size exchange)
- IBAN so that the amount may be refunded
8.7. Once the product has been received, GRIFFINS will analyse the returned product’s condition and if it shows obvious signs of use, it reserves the right not to accept the return or exchange.
8.8. In order to fully comply with Portuguese tax legislation in force, after accepting the returned product GRIFFINS will send a Credit Note to the customer by email so as to cancel the initially issued invoice.
9. Contents of the GRIFFINS Online Store
9.1. The website www.griffins-unisex.com aims to publicise the GRIFFINS brand and sell products, and is intended for a strictly specific use, wherefore any misuse of the aforementioned website shall be liable to legal action.
9.2. All textual and graphic content featured on the website www.griffins-unisex.com is protected by copyright under the Intellectual Property Code, wherefore any total or partial reproduction is expressly prohibited.
9.3. If the user wishes to use any content from the website www.griffins-unisex.com, they must request prior authorisation from the GRIFFINS brand owner via the email info@griffins-unisex.com.
9.4. The photos and the images displayed are for illustration purposes only, so differences may be seen on computer screens with different resolutions.
9.5. GRIFFINS shall provide the most detailed information possible regarding the features of products sold on the website.
9.6. GRIFFINS is not responsible for any other websites or internet links that enable access to the website www.griffins-unisex.com or that make references to the online store or the contents therein.
10. Changes to GRIFFINS Online Store Terms and Conditions
10.1. GRIFFINS reserves the right to change, at any time, without prior notice, the provisions of the Terms and Conditions, as well as information concerning prices, products, promotions, services and terms of sale, and any change shall always be published on the website www.griffins-unisex.com.
